YouFit
fitting room in your own room

the challenge

YOUFIT was created as part of a group project in a course on Innovation and Entrepreneurship. We followed a full business planning process—starting with the problem and customer research, then analyzing the market and competitors, and finally defining our product and strategy. The project ended with a demo day where we presented our idea: a virtual fitting room that lets users try on clothes online using augmented reality.

the
IDEA

YOUFIT is a virtual fitting room integrated into online stores. It uses AR and real-time body scanning to let users see how clothes fit their actual body—before they buy. No hardware needed—just a webcam. For users, it means confidence in every purchase. For brands, fewer returns and better conversion rates. Starting with Instagram-based fashion shops, YOUFIT offers a plug-and-play solution that’s simple, affordable, and impactful.

the
Process

This idea was born from a course in innovation and entrepreneurship. Through research, interviews, and market validation, we identified both user pain and business impact. We built a business plan, defined clear milestones, created a working prototype, and tested the demo with small brands. By combining AR, machine learning, and simple UX, we focused on scalability, comfort, and measurable success—positioning YOUFIT to reshape fashion e-commerce.

Solution & Strategy

As part of a course on Innovation and Entrepreneurship, our team developed a complete Business Model Canvas for YOUFIT. This included defining our key partners, value proposition, revenue model, and customer relationships. The goal was to explore the real potential of YOUFIT as a virtual fitting room solution for online clothing shops.
